RESEARCH CENTER FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF THE ARTS
Didactics and Pedagogy of Intercultural Music, following a methodology of qualitative analysis, based on the Pedadogical Relation (PR) of Renald Legrende´s Model (2005). Through a research conducted in Portuguese Schools of the 2nd and 3r cycles of basic education, it was found that the echoes and reflections of Artistic and Intercultural Musical Programs held in a prior research in 2006 (during her Ph.D.), were indicators in 2009, 2010, and 2011, passed three or more years after its implementation, and realized under the same circumstances, with the same features and the same students, revealing high levels of effectiveness in relation to inclusion and social inclusion, and in reducing failure of Portuguese students and in students of different peoples and cultures.
Results were again indicators and reflected - in 2009, 2010 and 2011 - relevant high degree of participation and relevance by students, situated in other educational contexts and with other age levels. With the implementation of Artistic and Intercultural Musical Programs, there was an eminent interest in disclosure music, cultures and traditions of peoples from all over the world. The Postdoctoral research opened doors to new and interesting Artistic and Intercultural Musical Programs performed within this context.
