PhD Dissertation of Carlos Franco published by Scribe

The PhD Dissertation in Heritage Studies of Carlos de Almeida Franco, a collaborating researcher of CITAR, which was defended at the School of the Arts in May 2015, has been published by the publishing house Scribe.

The book, entitled "Houses of Lisbon Elites: objects, interiors and experiences: from 1750 to 1830", has a preface written by the thesis advisor, Professor Gonçalo de Vasconcelos e Sousa.

Throughout 407 illustrated pages, the author presents numerous novelties on the modus vivendi of the Court elites in this period, linking the spaces, objects, traditions and customs, resulting in a work of great added value in Portuguese historiography.
